"Fables from the Golden Kingdom"
MY main WORK:
"The Golden Kingdom",
is a novel that best expresses my view of an emergent Golden Age. And tries to answer not only, "What if... and, what would it be like? But... why not?"
In this FIRST NOVEL I have created a poetic tale about the Golden Princess of the Golden Kingdom, who lives in a near perfect world, in a Golden Age.
This is her coming-of-age and heroines' journey, where each chapter weaves fables and tales within worlds of fantastical imagination.
SYNOPSIS: Book 1: The princess goes on magical adventures wherever she goes; experiencing everything from wizards to angels, enchanting beings and creatures throughout the realm's mystical lands; especially in the Garden of Dreams.
In one chapter alone, into the Enchanted Forest, she experiences several misadventures while journeying with her pet unicorn and rag-tag band of "adventureteer" friends. There, not only do they find talking trees and singing flowers, but also an odd Inn, full of nectar swigging mushroom elfs!
As this chapter unfolds, they venture ever deeper into the forest, til her entourage winds up at a royal feast with the Pixie Queen of the marshes. Still they journey onward, escaping the three toads of chaos, only to fall into an upside-down world full of strange Seussian creatures! They find wee tiny peoples, and even a cryptic hookah smoking caterpillar. Finally, there's the fearful encounter with the vile Snipe! And... the deadly dragon of the forest!
Later chapters reveal: that as she ages, her growing independence brings choices and troubles. Like when she meets with the high Mountain Elfs and King of the Dwarfs, under the mountains. And, the handsome Huntsman!
But her rebellious ways leads her astray; and she ventures through the dangerous Swamp of Sorrows, where she confronts the hellish mermaids and the Quizzling Riddler ogre... all in her search to find the forbidden Fairy Queen.
Every chapter of this book weaves fables & tales through many enchanting lands filled with characters of fantasy and imagination. All these adventures propel the lead character's coming-of-age story-arc, ever onward through this heavenly wonderland called, "The Golden Kingdom". And like "Alice in Wonderland", it is often written in whimsical literary alliteration!
Question: Does it end with a happily ever-after fairytale ending? One where she gets married and takes the throne? Or is her destiny more complex? Yes, to both! For you see... like any good fairytale, it is an allegory for life. As the Golden Kingdom is much more complex and deeper than one could imagine.
Book 2 through 5 of the series, shows the life-journeys of the whole royal family. Witness the downfall of the Golden King, revealed as a mere mortal aspiring to immortal glories. Also follow the unfolding story arcs of many many other characters found throughout the Golden Realm's exotic planets. Heartache, blessings and glory are experienced by all; while the rising fear of cosmic annihilation by the minions of the Evil One grows!
Empowerment and the unfoldment of each character's soul is truly key.
This is the very essence of fairytale story-telling. A good tale such as this, can be molded and re-told by the campfire, as in the days of lore. It is a story which literally pours out the truths and allegory's of mundane real-life! Just like a modern-day Grimm Brothers fairytale.

SYNOPSIS for novel series
A modern-day fairytale NOVEL
In this beautiful, magical world across the rainbow, the Golden Kingdom is the seat of power and ruler of the twelve planets existing in this near astral realm paradise!
The Golden royal family live in a Crystal Palace. Follow the Golden Princess and her pet unicorn as they go on many fantastical adventures! Like through the Garden of Dreams into the Enchanted Forest. "Curioser and curioser! It's a bit like 'Alice in Wonderland", she oft ponders.
All is glorious for many, many years. For as the princess grows into womanhood, she explores many fantastical lands and other planets... even forbidden love!
But later BOOKS in this series reveal that as time marches on, a growing darkness rises on the horizon. This has happened because the Golden King has lost his way, for he and the realms inhabitants have slipped into the many traps of the passions of the mind. With the anger of war, sensual lust, greed of riches and the vanity to claim he is God! Shades of "Lord of the Rings" and "Game of Thrones" create an exhilarating immersive experience.
Especially when these dark passions of the soul have rouse the dread, "Varka: the DESTROYER!" Minion of the Evil One, who is Hell-bent on conquering all, even the Golden Realm! Winter Cometh! And so begins the long war as dark forces sweep across the galaxy, marching planet by planet throughout the Golden Realm.
Final target: planet earth!
Will the Golden King see the light... in time? Can he and his ancient wizard, Zephyr prevail? Or will it be the Golden Princess who saves the day? Perhaps destiny falls to another to rise up and defeat this growing wicked evil?
But... with the Rainbow Bridge destroyed, will the eternal light ever again, shine bright from the glorious Crystal Palace?
